Hello,
My name is Olga Voloskovich, though many people know me as Lola.
I am a visual artist and designer currently studying
at the British Higher School of Art and Design.
My interest in memory and personal experience comes from a long-standing fascination with psychology and the way past events continue to shape our perception
of ourselves and the world around us.
Through painting and visual experimentation, I explore life journeys, memory, and the traces experiences leave behind. I am interested in how moments remain with us over time — not as complete stories, but as fragments, emotions, and shifting recollections.
My practice is influenced by psychology as well as contemporary painting. I am particularly inspired
by artists such as Peter Doig and Marlene Dumas, whose works explore memory, atmosphere, and the emotional presence of an image.
Alongside my artistic practice, I work as a digital product designer, moving between structured systems and intuitive forms of making.
